Luxembourg, 6 February 2026 – EY Luxembourg brought together nearly 300 public and private sector leaders at its exclusive “Strategic Executive Dialogue & Firechat with Xavier Bettel”, hosted at its Kirchberg offices. The event reaffirmed EY’s commitment to fostering strategic dialogue at a time when Europe faces defining geopolitical choices.
A privileged Firechat with Xavier Bettel and Alban Aubrée
The evening opened with introductory remarks highlighting the importance of creating meaningful spaces for decision-makers to exchange views as Europe navigates a rapidly evolving global landscape. The Strategic Executive Dialogue reflects EY’s commitment to supporting public debate and helping leaders understand the geopolitical, economic and technological forces shaping Europe’s future.
The first part of the evening featured an exclusive Firechat between:
- Xavier Bettel, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade
- Alban Aubrée, Country Managing Partner, EY Luxembourg
Introducing the conversation, Alban Aubrée emphasized the need for decisive leadership in times of geopolitical uncertainty, inviting the Deputy Prime Minister to share his perspective.
Xavier Bettel opened with a powerful statement that set the tone for the rest of the evening:
