Yen Lee is an EY-Parthenon Senior Executive Director at Ernst & Young PLT and a Partner in EY Insolvency Services PLT. She holds a liquidator license issued by the Treasury, Ministry of Finance and Labuan Financial Services Authority (FSA). She takes on appointments as receiver and manager and liquidator. Prior to joining EY, she was working at a foreign bank. Yen Lee has a Bachelor of Science (Economics), specializing in economics and management from University of London. She also holds a Chartered Global Management Accountant qualification.
Yen Lee has led several complex and litigious projects in the Financial Restructuring practice with extensive experience in the areas of corporate advisory, crisis stabilization, corporate insolvency and dispute resolution. She has worked alongside international legal firms and King’s counsels to develop litigation strategies in a number of legal suits that involved complex cross-border commercial and legal matters. She was a key witness at the High Court in Singapore and in Malaysia in legal suits that resulted in enhanced recovery for clients and their stakeholders.
She has also successfully advised public-listed companies in various industries, such as property development and construction. She has led restructuring mandates involving capital reduction, debt restructuring, transfer of business, issuance of loan stocks and reverse takeover. She is also passionate about supporting non-distress clients navigate challenging operating environments, helping them build resilience and sustain long-term value.
