The EY organization unveiled its second dedicated cloud technology hub — EY Cloud Enablement Center (CEC), at the EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Wroclaw office in Poland.

The center reinforces the EY organization’s $2.5 billion technology strategy commitment to accelerate business transformation programs enabled by technology with a strong focus on artificial intelligence (AI), data and disruptive technologies. The EY cloud ecosystems and market-leading risk, regulatory and technology experience provide access to the right assets, talent, and skill to drive successful business transformations at speed and scale.

Ragu Rajaram, EY Global Cloud Consulting Leader, says, "The CEC showcases what we do best - envisioning the future and creating new experiences that help EY clients reimagine their business in entirely new ways. "With CEC, EY clients can now access deep industry knowledge, leverage market-leading risk and regulatory capabilities, an ecosystem of cloud service providers, tailored industry solutions and a full stack cloud engineering talent, all under a single roof."

Given the presence of several top-ranked science and technology universities, financial services and IT organizations, and a buzzing startup ecosystem, Wroclaw was chosen as the strategic location. The CEC strengthens EY’s commitment to the EMEIA clients and markets while providing a range of customized client-centric and industry-specific cloud solutions.

Organizations and entire economies across Europe are reinventing their futures on the cloud to become more resilient, sustainable, and innovative. Rajan Sachdeva, EY EMEIA Technology Consulting Leader says, “Whether the goal is to accelerate the switch to greener energy sources, respond to supply chain disruptions, or speed up drug discovery, all these transformations rely on the cloud, data, and AI. The CEC will support enablement of these objectives in alignment with EU regulations and standards."

The CEC offers customized and curated insights, pilot ideas, and recommendations bridging technology. It is yet another extension of the EY flagship CECs and is fully integrated with the broader global network through metaverse to provide live and immersive co-creation experiences.

Sebastien Kulej, GDS Poland CEC Leader, says, “We are proud that the EY Cloud Enablement Center is housed at EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Wroclaw. The CEC will provide EY clients in EMEIA significant support in building the digital landscape, as well as new skills and know-how in the field of cloud.”

The EY organization has been recognized for its cloud services by various platforms including being ranked 5th in the HFS Top 10 rankings—Application modernization services, 2022 and was also named a leader in The IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Cloud Professional Services 2022.

These technology centers build off of the success of the EY wavespace™, a global network of growth and innovation centers that provide companies with access to an immersive experience, including design-based thinking, technology intelligence and deep business experience across disciplines and sectors to achieve breakthroughs in business transformation.
