Jaime is a Partner in EY's Tax Advisory Services practice and has been with the firm since 2008.
He has extensive experience leading teams in transaction projects, both in the areas of Due Diligence and transaction tax structuring, having advised on numerous acquisitions for leading national and international private equity funds.
He provides tax assistance in some of the largest privatization processes carried out by the Portuguese State, delivers ongoing tax advisory services to both international and domestic clients, and has successfully conducted tax diagnostic reviews aimed at identifying tax opportunities.
He was responsible for implementing ITTS in Angola and Mozambique.
In recent years, he has been, and continues to be, responsible for the tax advisory of prominent national and international groups.
He holds a degree in Economics and a postgraduate qualification in Finance and Taxation from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto. He has also completed several international training programmes in Transaction Tax, Due Diligence and International Tax Services.
