How Omar is building a better working world
“I am a strong supporter of DE&I in EY. I am proud that we were the first of the Big 4 to publish our Gender Pay Gap, our Partner Gender Pay Gap and our Ethnicity Pay Gap in the UK; we were also among the first signatories of the HMT Women in Finance Charter, and launched a ‘background blind’ student recruitment programme for UKFS; and in 2020, we published our anti-racist commitments.
I am also proud of the role EY has played and continues to play in addressing the recapitalisation challenge facing SMEs as a result of COVID-19. It was an honour to lead the TCUK Working Group on Recapitalisation, which brought together 200 professionals from across the Financial and related Professional Services Industry to size the problem and propose some solutions and am delighted to see the impact our work has had on the Government response.”
