Professor Jun Yang is the Dean and President's Chair in Finance at Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She is the Academic Director of the Financial Management Association (FMA), a Senior Fellow at the Asian Bureau of Finance and Economic Research (ABFER), a Council Member of the Economic Society of Singapore (ESS), a Research Member of the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI) and serves on the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of International Business Studies (JIBS).

Professor Yang’s research lies at the intersection of corporate finance, corporate governance and financial technology, with influential contributions on executive compensation, peer benchmarking and board independence. Her work has been published in leading journals including the Journal of Financial Economics, the Review of Financial Studies and Management Science and has been widely featured in major international media outlets including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and Bloomberg.

Professor Yang holds PhDs from Washington University in St. Louis and The Chinese University of Hong Kong and earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Tsinghua University.
