Janet Truncale is the EY Global Chair and CEO, where she leads a global organization of approximately 400,000 people across more than 150 countries and territories and over US$51 billion in revenues.
In her previous role, Janet served as EY Vice Chair and Regional Managing Partner of the EY Americas Financial Services Organization (FSO).
Throughout her tenure at EY, Janet has developed a reputation as a trusted advisor to Fortune 500 CEOs and boards, having served as Global Client Service Partner and Senior Advisory Partner to many of the EY organization’s largest clients.
Since joining EY as an intern in audit, Janet has held various leadership roles across the FSO including as Initial Public Offering Leader and Banking and Capital Markets Assurance Leader.
A recipient of the 2024 Women’s Bond Club Merit Award, Janet’s also been recognized by the Financial Times as one of 25 Most Influential Women, by Forbes as one of the World’s Most Powerful Women and as one of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women.
Janet holds a BSE from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Columbia University. She is a CPA in New York and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Janet has long been a strong advocate for EY’s global, dynamic talent base, chairing and sponsoring various initiatives to strengthen the EY organization.
Janet serves as Board Chair for Women’s World Banking. She also serves on the boards of UNICEF USA and the New York Jobs CEO Council. She is a member of the World Economic Forum International Business Council, The Business Council and Business Roundtable.
