Wolfgang drives the global EY Employment Operate approach, supporting global organizations in running employment law matters at scale across jurisdictions, including usage of horizon scanning features. In his role he supports clients in operationalizing employment law through compliant, efficient and sustainable workforce operations, including the responsible use of technology and AI‑enabled solutions. He works with global employers to translate legal complexity into practical, cross‑border solutions, in the areas of share plans, pensions, reward, restructuring and workforce transformation. He has been advising German and international companies on all aspects of individual and collective employment law for more than 20 years.
Following a year in the UK, Wolfgang studied law at the University of Münster, Germany, and has been working as a lawyer since 2005. He is a member of the EY Pensions and Reward Team and regularly appears as a speaker on employment law topics.
