Daniel is an EY-Parthenon Partner at EY Strategy & Transactions GmbH and a recognized professional in Power-to-X and industrial decarbonization.
With over 18 years of experience in sustainability and infrastructure, he advises corporates and public institutions on the strategic and financial dimensions of the energy transition. His work spans the full Power-to-X (PtX) value chain — including hydrogen, e-fuels and bioenergy — with a focus on hard-to-abate sectors such as aviation, shipping and heavy industry. Daniel supports clients in developing robust business models that enable them to act as investors, producers or offtakers in emerging PtX markets.
He is the lead author of the global EY organization’s global sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) study, developed in collaboration with Fraunhofer Institute and Deutsche Energie-Agentur, and regularly contributes to national and regional transformation strategies. Combining regulatory insight with deep financial modeling experience, he helps clients turn climate ambition into investable action.
How Daniel is shaping the future with confidence
"I’m passionate about translating climate ambition into measurable, financeable action. I support clients in designing business models, regulatory strategies and investment pathways that make Power-to-X solutions — from hydrogen and e-fuels to bioenergy — scalable and real. My goal is to align sustainability with value creation and help shape a net-zero economy that works in practice."
