Crispian Olver joins EY-Parthenon Leader Paul O’Flaherty to discuss the role of the year-old Presidential Climate Commission tasked with implementing SA’s ‘Just Transition’ to a NetZero carbon economy by 2050.

Crispian qualified as a medical doctor in South Africa before joining government in 1994. Previously, he held the positions of Director- General at the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism (DET) where he was responsible for developing South Africa’s climate policy. Crispian was the head of Pravin Gordhan’s task team aimed at rooting out corruption in the Nelson Mandela Bay metro in 2015. He is the founder and CEO Linkd Environmental Services.
