Sheraz Javed is a Partner in Risk Consulting with EY MENA. He advises governments, infrastructure organizations and major enterprises on governance, commercial assurance and contractual resilience, helping them navigate complex challenges and make better-informed decisions.
Over more than two decades, Sheraz has worked across large-scale public and private infrastructure and capital projects programs. His experience spans governance and risk management, commercial and contractual reviews, procurement oversight and helping organizations optimize costs and protect value.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Certificate in environmental, social and governance (ESG) investing.

Recognizing the need for more structured responses to disruption, Sheraz has championed practical approaches that combine governance, commercial insight and evidence-based analysis. This has included pioneering contractual resilience review (CRR) approach for EY teams in MENA. Through this work, Sheraz is helping organizations understand exposure earlier, evaluate options more effectively and respond to disruption with greater confidence.
