In her role as the EY Europe West Leader and Global Co-leader for Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), Monica has over 20 years of experience in sustainability, facilitating in the integration of sustainable practices, particularly in EHS sectors.

Her experience encompasses gap analysis, organizational, and environmental, social & governance (ESG) risk assessments, along with implementation of management systems compliant with ISO and other international standards. Monica has a strong focus on supply chain and biofuel sustainability in accordance with International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) regulations, as well as environmental audits and compliance.

Currently based in Italy, Monica has previously held managerial roles at large insurance companies and worked in the environmental division of top consulting firms. She holds a BAS in Environmental Science from Queen Mary University of London and is fluent in both English and Italian.
