EY advised Vaaka Partners in the acquisition of Lemon Tree

Vaaka Partners, a leading private equity firm based in Finland and Sweden, acquired a majority stake in Lemon Group Oy, parent company to Tilitoimisto Lemon Tree Oy, on 28 May 2025. Lemon Tree is a modern accounting and software firm specializing in providing tailored accounting solutions for small businesses.

EY supported Vaaka Partners comprehensively throughout the entire transaction process by providing commercial, financial, tax, and legal support. In addition to customary due diligence services, EY provided support a broad operational evaluation of Lemon Group, while EY Law supported Vaaka in all relevant transaction negotiations.  The transaction highlights EY's capability to effectively serve leading Nordic private equity funds with multidisciplinary advisory delivery in ensuring an efficient and fit for purpose M&A process.
