Dr. Anselmo Chung

Anselmo began his professional career as a nuclear engineer. For the past 15 years, he has served in diverse roles within life sciences and health care, first as an innovation and continuous process leader at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He currently supports the growth strategies of pharmaceutical and medical technology companies.

Anselmo specializes in large-scale and complex market access and go-to-market strategy projects focusing on digital and advanced analytics to drive C-suite level decision-making, particularly in sales and omnichannel marketing.  

In addition to his role as a Life Sciences and Health Care Sector Strategy Leader, he teaches Doctor of Public Health students as an adjunct professor at the Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Anselmo holds a doctoral degree from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, an MBA degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University. 

How Anselmo is shaping the future with confidence

Anselmo is also passionate about closing the wealth and gender inequality gaps by looking for ways to provide easier access to essential services such as education, health care, and financial services. He is currently providing pro bono mentoring to WealthTech and FemTech start-ups that focus on providing services to these underserved segments.

Anselmo is also a strong supporter of EY’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives, and strives to drive these values to the team he leads by developing and promoting DE&I opportunities and socializing these values as a regular part of their daily professional activities and not just as special events.
