Dr. Giovanni Bianchi is a partner of EY Strategy & Consulting, and the EY Japan Energy Transition leader.
He supports clients who are navigating the energy transition and implementing operational and capital project excellence programs to enhance competitiveness and re-allocate resources to high-growth areas. His clients come from both the public and private sector, and include power and gas utilities, oil and gas players, and investors such as trading companies, private equity funds, and regional conglomerates.
In a career spanning more than 15 years, he has combined a focus on global strategy with applied consulting experience. Immediately prior to joining EY, he held a senior role in the energy practice at a leading global strategy consulting firm.
Giovanni holds a DPhil in Physics from the University of Oxford. His proficiency in Japanese, English and French is complemented by fluency in his native Italian.
