Passionate about communicating brand value and fostering employee engagement. Mother of two, I enjoy traveling and watching tennis in my spare time.

As of March 2025, Haruka Ogata is the EY Japan Chief Branding Officer and responsible for both internal and external brand engagement initiatives as the Brand, Marketing and Communications Leader.

Since joining EY Japan in 2021, she has worked across several areas, including branding, marketing, and internal and external communications.

She began her career as a business consultant supporting global projects at a foreign-affiliated company. She later transitioned to the marketing department of the same firm, where she was the Japan lead for numerous marketing campaigns for various products and services in the digital advertising area.

She is a graduate of International Christian University with a degree in liberal arts.

I’m passionate about using branding and marketing not just to promote products and services, but to spark awareness of social issues, build empathy, and inspire meaningful action. I also care deeply about team growth—listening closely to each member, helping shape roles and environments where they can thrive, and focusing on developing the next generation of leaders.
