In addition to working as a partner for mega-bank groups in Japan, Hisashi Tsurumori leads various financial accounting advisory projects for banking, securities, insurance, and other related areas.
Having daily dialogue throughout all levels of client organization is of primary importance to his profession. With the senior executives of such as the client's corporate planning, finance affairs, global planning, new business development, and as well as the leaders of the System, Human Resources, Accounting departments, he listens and understands the client and their everyday issues. He offers attentive service and supports clients in solving various challenges related to the business of financial institutions
Before joining EY Strategy and Consulting in 2013, he served in the Financial Department of EY ShinNihon, where he performed auditing and advisory duties for major financial institutions, as well as consulting for IFRS and current value accounting. He has also worked in New York, US, and is a certified public accountant.
