Masahiro Nishiguchi manages IPOs at EY Japan’s Growing Enterprise Support Center. He has been in his current position since 2015, providing IPO services as well as startup assistance, business event planning and project management.
He began his career at another professional services firm, and joined EY Japan in 2007. He has extensive experience in auditing and advisory services, from IPO advisory to IFRS, J-SOX and corporate turnarounds.

"There are too few accountants, and this is becoming an increasingly serious problem. And with more and more companies unable to receive IPO audits, it is becoming a problem for society in general.
To solve this problem, it will no doubt be important to promote next-generation audits using digital technologies. At the same time, we also need to make the job more appealing and increase the pool of talented accountants.
I have taught at an accounting graduate school since 2019, focusing specifically on conveying the appealing qualities of the job to as many students as possible."
