Masanori Migita is a financial accounting advisory services (FAAS) division partner of EY ShinNihon LLC where he stewards the firm’s advisory divisions as EY Japan Advisory Market Leader. In his role, he supports a wide range of accounting-related projects such as overseas IPO, SEC filing including Form F-4, GAAP conversion, M&A support, Japanese IPO, digital transformation, and financial accounting reform. He also serves as Technology, Media & Entertainment and Telecommunications Advisory Leader.
He began his audit career at an EY member firm in Japan in 1998. His international experience includes a four-year secondment to EY’s London office prior to his return to Tokyo in 2009.
Building a better working world
In my career to date, I have contributed to the business development of many clients, primarily Japanese corporations, by providing financial accounting consulting services such as IOP, M&S, IFRS voluntary implementation and US SEC filing. To help further develop the Japanese economy, I am now increasing my focus on financial accounting reforms to maximize shareholder value, as well as supporting the growth of Japanese unicorns (unlisted companies with aggregate market value of over 100 billion yen).
