With more than 15 years of experience serving energy clients, Matt is a Principal within Climate Change and Sustainability Services for Ernst & Young LLP. He focuses on climate risk, decarbonization and corporate value in the energy sector. Today, Matt advises energy companies on their low-carbon strategy and embedding sustainability into core business activities.

During his career, Matt has led and shaped emission reduction strategies, quantification, disclosures and assurance for the largest energy companies in the world. He has worked around the globe in Africa, Europe, the Middle East and the US, and continues to support corporate planning and financial forecasts across the energy value chain.

He earned a BSc from the University of South Africa and a BSocSc from Rhodes University.
