Maximilian is a partner at EY and Managing Partner for EY Studio+ in Germany. He advises global leading companies such as Takeda, Bristol-Myers Squibb or LEGO across industry on strategy, implementation of innovation processes, co-creation in ecosystems and the integration of open innovation and design thinking. At Studio+ in Germany his team is focused on Product and Service Innovation (PSI) in regulated industries such as Health, Life Science, FSO or Government as well as on AI-enabled customer growth transformation.
Alongside his consulting work, he is a professor at the International University of Monaco and has held visiting professorships in the US and Russia. He has published more than 50 academic works on open innovation, co-creation and related topics.
Before joining the global EY organization, he was a team lead at HYVE, where he expanded the North American business and focused on innovation in the public sector. He holds a PhD from Queen’s University Belfast and the National University of Ireland, Galway and studied Politics and Communication Science in Augsburg and Belfast.
