Career focus on real estate and construction sectors. Kyu-do enthusiast.

Osamu Suwabe became a Partner at Ernst & Young ShinNihon LLC (EYSN) in 2007.

He served as the Risk Management Leader from February 2016, and as the Professional Practice Leader from July 2019. He reprised his role as Risk Management Leader in July 2025.

He began his career at Ota Showa Audit Corporation, a predecessor of EYSN, to work on audits of life insurance companies, maritime shipping companies, major construction companies and department stores.

Outside EY, he has also served as the chair of the JICPA Committee for Construction Industry Research and as a council member of the Foundation for Accounting Research in Construction Industry.

He is a CPA.

I focus on maintaining a positive mindset and motivating the people around me, as well as myself, to create a positive chain reaction that maximizes the firm’s potential and also my own. I believe that the best solution is to be sincere in considering everyone’s feelings and tackling issues head-on. This approach has empowered me to overcome various challenges in my professional and personal life and enabled my own contribution to society.
