Yoichiro Takami is EY Japan Strategy and Transformation Leader, and Strategy and Transformation's Transformation Leader. He has more than 20 years’ experience as a finance professional with a focus on transformation consulting services, shared services, operations’ improvements and accounting consulting.

Prior to joining EY, he worked in the Tokyo office of a US-headquartered consulting firm, where he provided accounting advisory and corporate consulting services. He also spent nine years at a venture capital firm in Silicon Valley, where he was promoted to chief financial officer.

He is a certified public accountant in Japan and holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Waseda University, Tokyo.
