On 20 January 2025, it was announced that EY’s dedicated technology corporate finance team acted as the financial advisor to the shareholders of VesselMan AS (“VesselMan” or the “Company”), including its Founders, Management and a group of Family Office and Venture Capital investors, including Skagerak Capital, Ystholmen Felles and Møkster Investering, in a 100% sale of their shares to Marcura Group (“Marcura”), a maritime software group backed by Marlin Equity Partners.
VesselMan is a Norwegian maritime software company founded in 2015, providing a cloud-based digital platform for maritime inspections, dry-dockings and technical project management. The Company holds a market-leading position within its niche, having gained an international customer base consisting of a variety of customers, including some of the largest ship owners and ship managers globally.
Marcura is the global leader in vertical software, payments, and data intelligence offerings to the maritime industry, with more than 1,000 team members and 800 customers in total. The company is backed by Marlin Equity Partners, a global investment firm with over $9 billion of assets under management.
As part of the transaction, Vesselman will be integrated with established Marcura solutions, MarTrust and ShipServ, to provide customers end-to-end services within a unified digital environment.
