Our Commitment to Disability Inclusion and Accessibility
EY is a global signatory and iconic partner of the Valuable 500, a global business partnership of the world’s most influential businesses who are igniting systemic change by unlocking the business, social and economic value of people with disability everywhere.
In 2018, EY launched its first Accessibility and Inclusion Plan, marking a significant step towards creating an inclusive work environment. This ongoing commitment is displayed in our current EY Accessibility & Inclusion Plan as we continue to drive change and accelerate progress in designing an inclusive environment for all.
EY’s membership with the Australian Disability Network (AusDN) and PurpleSpace underscores our strong focus on disability inclusion. These partnerships connect us with a global network of organisations dedicated to fostering inclusive workplaces, enabling us to share best practices, explore innovative solutions, and champion greater equity for people with disability.
The EY Ability Network brings people together through four key communities—Neurodivergent Community Connect, Parents and Carers Community Connect, the Cancer Care Circle, and Chronic Health and Invisible Disability Community Connect, creating spaces where understanding, connection, and care thrive. Throughout the year, the network drives awareness and uplifts acceptance through a calendar of events that honour key initiatives, celebrate diverse experiences and amplify the call for an inclusive and accessible world for all.
In 2024, EY conducted its inaugural Workplace Accessibility and Inclusion survey, gathering feedback and insights to ensure the voices of lived experience inform the design of future initiatives and support mechanisms that promote accessibility and inclusion within the workplace.
