Testimonial: William Gilmour, Senior, EY Advisory
I am so grateful that EY supports me to pursue both my professional and sporting careers. By having the freedom to flex my hours around training and travel commitments, I have the opportunity to play hockey at a national level, whilst also working on major projects with EY clients.

Global mindset
International experiences are the surest way to build a global mindset – a crucial attribute for working effectively with colleagues and clients from different countries, cultures and backgrounds. We’ll give you unique opportunities to develop yours, whether you’re working abroad, traveling internationally or working virtually from your home office with colleagues and clients from other countries.
Challenge your comfort zone by changing your time zone
Being part of a global organization offers many opportunities for cross-border experiences. One example is traveling for business internationally, from a single trip to regular travel on a long-term engagement. Whether for a few days, weeks or more, working across borders provides you with valuable professional development and collaborative opportunities.
You might work in an emerging market in your region for three months as part of Global New Horizons, be based abroad for a couple of years with the EY Global Exchange Program or share your insight and expertise in Global Emerging Markets. These are just some of the opportunities offered to further your cross-border experiences.
In FY20, EY managed over 2,800 assignments:
