Carmen Vicelich is passionate about delivering a better world through technology and data and has founded four businesses to do so. In 2012, she quit her corporate job to make her entrepreneurial dreams a reality with the creation of Data Insight, a company that leverages advanced analytics to solve real-world problems (such as the Christchurch rebuild) with data. Then, a year later she launched Valocity, a financial technology company that streamlines property valuation and real estate processes.

Fast forward to today and Data Insight works with some of the largest organisations in Australasia including every New Zealand lender, utilities, telco's, government, and retail clients such as Briscoes, Vodafone, and Genesis and has completed thousands of projects.

Most recently, Data Insight invested its profits into developing new companies both with world-leading AI driven platforms that solve unique global challenges. The first is a jobs platform, named ZEIL, which was recently sold, that is connecting teams to talent and enabling job seekers to digitally connect with teams that are aligned to their goals and careers. The second, Generate Zero, was designed to enable organisations to capture, measure, report and reduce carbon emissions of companies, teams, cars, and property, to ultimately reduce the impact of business on the environment.

Valocity continues to grow from strength to strength digitising the ecosystem in over 2000 cities around the world including Australasia and India.
