Mihai Drăghici is the new Partner of EY Romania in the Consulting department

Mihai Drăghici will take over the position of Partner of EY Romania in the Consulting department as of July 2023. With more than 15 years of experience in business consulting within EY Romania, Mihai is specialized in defining and implementing strategic programs for companies in the local and international energy sector.

Mihai leads the energy sector within EY Romania and in Southeast Europe. Main areas of expertise include strategy definition, operations improvement, operational model redefinition, and sales transformation.


The promotion of Mihai Drăghici as a Partner in the Business Consulting department is a natural outcome to a consistent and high level performance in the field of energy consulting. Mihai has shown vision in developing relevant services for this key sector, determination in creating a valuable team with complementary skills, thoroughness in delivering services at a recognized quality and integrity in professional relationships, thus earning the trust of clients. Mihai graduated from the PhD Business Administration program at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies and is certified in Finance, Accounting and Business by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Mihai is a frequent speaker at some of the most important energy events in Romania and has published several articles on the challenges and opportunities in the energy sector.
