EY-Parthenon Romania assisted Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners with financial and tax due diligence and financial model audit for the financing of the Peștera II wind project

EY-Parthenon Romania provided advisory services to CIP throughout the transaction process, including financial due diligence, financial modelling, tax due diligence and tax structuring. The transaction involved a complex multi-source financing structure supported by a syndicate of international and local lenders.

The Peștera II project is expected to make a significant contribution to increasing Romania’s renewable energy capacity and to supporting the country’s energy security objectives, while further strengthening Romania’s position as an attractive market for large-scale infrastructure investments.
