Alexandru began his career in electrical engineering and shortly afterwards changed to accounting and consulting, a field in which he has accumulated over 25 years of experience.
He built on his varied skills to quickly develop professionally and as a leader, becoming partner in 2004. He also contributed to the growth of the practice through roles such as managing partner for regional offices, country Assurance Leader, SGM Leader, etc.
Experienced auditor, having worked with large, complex clients, including entities listed locally and internationally. In-depth knowledge of listing requirements and corporate governance rules and practices.
Extensive knowledge of various industries: oil & gas, mining, utilities, FMCG, industrial manufacturing.
Alexandru holds an MSc in Engineering, a BSc in Economics and is a graduate of the TRIUM Executive MBA. He is also a member of various professional organizations such as the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (ACCA, UK), Romanian Chamber of Financial Auditors (CAFR) and Romanian Expert Accountant (CECCAR).
