At the ceremonial gala dinner of the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year program finals, the married couple Nenad and Nataša Zlatarić, owners of the Euromedik Health System, were awarded the prestigious title of EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2024 in the Republic of Serbia. The award was presented by the Chairman of the independent jury, Darko Budeč, and Ivan Rakić, EY CESA Central Cluster Managing Partner and Country Managing Partner for Serbia, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Additionally, we would like to thank all the contestants of this year's EY Entrepreneur Of The Year program cycle, who will serve as great inspiration for our future business endeavors," emphasized Dr. Nataša Zlatarić and Dr. Nenad Zlatarić, representing the Euromedik Health System, EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2024.
Euromedik is the largest private health system in Serbia, established in 2002 with the aim of providing users with the highest quality medical services from leading specialists and subspecialists in almost all areas of medicine, using the most modern and certified medical equipment. After completing their specializations, Dr. Nenad and Dr. Nataša Zlatarić founded a private healthcare facility operating at the level of a polyclinic, registered as an entrepreneurial business. Today, Euromedik serves between 6,000 and 7,000 patients daily. By the end of 2024, across a total of 17 facilities, the number of medical examinations had exceeded 1,630,000.
In addition to the national award, EY (Ernst & Young) also presented two awards in subcategories. Dubravka Bjekić, head of the company PaySpot, received the title of EY Emerging Entrepreneur for 2024, while Miodrag and Biljana Tomić and Marija Vulićević from the company Desing received the title of EY Innovative Entrepreneur 2024.
“Over the past thirteen years that the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Program has been held in our country, we have seen a true increase in the number of candidates, but I would emphasize the remarkable entrepreneurial spirit and incredible perseverance that characterizes all of them.
For over a decade, our entrepreneurs have been setting standards in their respective fields, and their innovation and agility continue to inspire us. I congratulate this year’s winners and I am confident they will showcase the strength of local entrepreneurship at the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year competition held in Monte Carlo,” said Ivan Rakić, EY CESA Central Cluster Managing Partner and Country Managing Partner for Serbia, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The finalists for the national award were: Perica Čudić (EWE Comp), Budimir Jovanović (Keramika Jovanović), Aleksandar Đorđević (Pinoles), Saša Stanić (Stanić Arilje), and representatives of the company Tri O - Saša Orlović, Aleksandra Orlović Ljamić, and Katarina Petković.
As winners of the national competition, Dr. Nenad Zlatarić and Dr. Nataša Zlatarić represented Serbia at the global competition for EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year in Monte Carlo, which took place in June this year.
This year’s mobility partner is Star Import, and Raiffeisen Bank is the official sponsor of the gala evening.
The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year program has the support of the Ministry of Economy, the magazine Biznis & Finansije, the business portal eKapija, and the magazine Nova ekonomija.
This year, 30 candidates from 24 companies across 9 cities in Serbia competed for this prestigious title. This year's generation of entrepreneurs collectively employs nearly 3,000 people and generates a total revenue of 406 million euros, confirming the strength and potential of domestic entrepreneurship. Since the program was established, more than 350 entrepreneurs from 303 companies have participated, employing a total of 32,000 people and generating revenue of 3.2 billion euros.
