EY has advised Helios Nordic Energy (“Helios”), a leading Sweden based developer of large-scale solar PV parks in Northern Europe, in a landmark deal with Commerz Real where Helios will provide a turn-key delivery of the two largest utility scale solar PV parks in Sweden to date.
The equity investor is renewable energy funds managed by German institutional asset manager Commerz Real.
Helios has developed the two solar PV plants with a combined capacity of 69 MWp and will also deliver construction management and supply the commercial and technical management services for the projects.
EY provided sell-side M&A advisory services to the seller in a highly competitive divestment process and this marks the second solar PV transaction in Sweden this year for EY:s Nordic energy corporate finance team.
