EY acted as financial advisor when Solør Bioenergi acquired Oplandske Bioenergi

On Friday December 16, it was announced that Solør Bioenergi signed an agreement to acquire Oplandske Bioenergi, an owner and operator of 23 different local and district heating facilities in Easter Norway with total deliveries of approximately 60 GWh.

The transaction will strengthen Solør Bioenergi’s position as a leading provider of biobased heating in the Nordics.

As part of the deal Eidsiva Bioenergi will acquire 5 of the heating assets from Oplandske Bioenergi.

EY supported Solør Bioenergi across the transaction as corporate finance advisor while also providing financial due diligence services.
