People Sustainability Seminar Series is a collaborative initiative between Malmö University and EY, designed to drive real and measurable change.
By leveraging insights from EY and Malmö University’s research into Swedish sustainability reporting, along with leading practices from an analysis of over 400 companies globally, this Seminar Series aims to empower organizations to integrate people sustainability into their business strategies effectively.
What is the Purpose of the Seminar Series?
Our goal is to make leading expertise and practical tools available through a collaborative format that enables deeper learning, broader impact, and access to resources typically reserved for large-scale projects. Each session will feature experienced specialists from our EY network, sharing practical perspectives and insights on the topic under discussion.

- Or roles with similar responsibilities, i.e. focus on DEI, Social- and/or People sustainability

Seminar Series Structure and Meetings*
The Seminar Series consists of five annual workshops planned with a start in September 2026, each focusing on key aspects of people sustainability.
- September: Introduction, Navigating DEI Language, and Setting the Foundation
- November: Strategy, Governance, and Leadership
- January (2027): Talent Attraction, Recruitment, Onboarding and Career Progression
- March: Feedback Mechanisms, Engagement, Data, and Reporting
- May: Rounding up: Learnings, Key Takeaways, and Next Steps
Each session will feature experts from our Global EY Seminar Series, providing participants with the opportunity to engage with leading global specialists in these topics.
Note that the start has been moved to after this summer. This is so that we can bring insights from this years CSRD report analysis to the series. Also note that the above is a proposed structure. Final topics and focus areas will be determined together with participants to ensure relevance and value.
