We celebrated 100 successful family business stories and revealed the winner of EY Family Business Award of Excellence

At EY Slovenia, we have been supporting and celebrating family-owned and led enterprises for more than 10 years. Inspired by their determination, inovations and values, we have started collecting their stories and publishing them in the EY Slovenia Family Business book series. On February 6, 2025, we celebrated the publication of the 10th book in the series and our collection now encompases 100 incredible accounts. In the latest, milestone book, we had the privilage of sharing the histories, current achievements and hopes for the future of the following companies: DOBA BUSINESS SCHOOL, DOM TRADE, GABRIJEL ALUMINIUM, JASON, MALALAN, MAROVT GROUP, METALIKA, RLS, ROBOTEHNIKA, and TULI.

At this occasion, we also revealed the winner of the 2024 EY Family Business Award of Excellence, a company that is not only successful but exemplifies best prctices and values. This year, the award went to the Slovenian company KRONOTERM, leading manufacturers of heat pumps in the European market. The company, which has also been recognised for its sustainability practices, is led by the second generation of the Kronovšek family.
