EY, in cooperation with UNICEF, at the request of the of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, has started working on the draft Concept of the State Targeted Social Program “Youth of Ukraine” for 2026-2030. This document aims to formulate the priorities of youth policy in Ukraine for the next five years.

The concept is being developed taking into account the current needs of young people, the challenges caused by the war, and the goals of Ukraine's European integration of Ukraine. The document will emphasize the importance of investing in the younger generation, which is a critical driver for the recovery and sustainable development of the country.

One of the main stages in the preparation of the Concept was a report on the complex analysis of the current state of youth policy. The main challenges faced by young people today were identified and strategic priorities for their successful resolution were proposed. The results of this analysis will serve as a basis for creating a future program to support and develop youth in Ukraine.

EY project team included experts from People Advisory Services, led by Olga Gorbanovska, Partner; experts from the Legal practice led by Borys Lobovyk, Partner, and the Consulting practice led by Kostiantyn Neviadomskyi, Partner.
