On April 10, 2025, the National Philharmonic of Ukraine hosted a ceremony to announce the winners of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 in Ukraine. The competition recognizes the achievements of entrepreneurs who demonstrate innovation, sustainability and leadership in their industries.
Vasyl Danylyak, CEO of OKKO Group, co-owner of Goro Development and co-founder of Goro Mountain Resort, was named EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 in Ukraine. He was chosen for his outstanding ability to run a business in a challenging environment and for his bold investment decisions that contribute to the development of not only his company but also the country's economy as a whole.

The national selection of the competition began in February 2025. After a thorough review of the applications, a shortlist of 16 nominees was formed, among which the main winner was selected. The jury of the competition included: Andy Hunder, President of the American Chamber of Commerce, Vitaliy Sych, Editor-in-Chief of NV Media House, and Olena Vdovychenko, CEO of METRO Ukraine.
The competition was supported by NV Media House and ProCredit Bank.
At the next stage, the winners from 44 countries will compete in the international competition EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year™, which will be held in Monaco on June 3-6, 2025.
