EY Ukraine Tax and Legal practice is recognised in the Legal 500 2025

The international research Legal 500 has once again highly recognised EY Ukraine Tax and Legal practice in Ukraine. EY's team has been recognised in six categories: Tax, Commercial, corporate & M&A, Energy, Real estate and construction, Private client and Employment.

EY has been recognised as a leading firm in Tax (Tier 1). The editors estimate the achievements of the practice under the leadership of Vladimir Kotenko, especially in the areas of tax and customs. "EY Law fields a deep tax and customs team, active for key market players across sectors such as IT, manufacturing, and telecommunications, with energy as a particular area of strength. The group covers the full scope of tax, in addition to its strength in broader corporate governance and employment matters," – commented the editors of the ranking. Practice head Vladimir Kotenko and Iryna Kalyta are recognised in the Leading Partners category.

EY has been recognised as a Tier 2 firm in Commercial, corporate and M&A. As a leading legal advisor on major cross-border transactions, under the leadership of Borys Lobovyk, EY team is well placed to advise international clients on M&A transactions.

In addition, the practice is recognised in Energy (Tier 2) for its involvement in landmark energy projects. The company advises government agencies, international financial institutions and domestic energy companies, and works with regulators, government agencies and gas transmission system operators.

Real estate and construction category (Tier 2) recognises EY extensive experience in leasing, public-private partnerships and transactions.

People Advisory Services team, led by Olga Gorbanovskaya and Halyna Khomenko, has been recognised in Private client (Tier 2) and Employment (Tier 2).
