Alex is the Tax & Law Leader of EY in Romania and Moldova. He has an experience of 13 years as a tax partner and over 22 years in advising and working with multinational companies.
Alex joined EY Romania team in 2002 as a tax manager and during the years, he gained considerable experience in corporate and international taxation, transfer pricing, indirect taxes including VAT and customs, tax due diligences, tax audits, developing and implementing international tax structuring, consultancy and compliance work currently in corporate taxation and investment structuring.
He is a founding member of the Romanian Tax Consultants Chamber and has numerous articles published in renowned international and national media on tax and regulatory issues as “International Tax Review”, “Euromoney”, “The Business Review” etc.
He has a BA in Economics from Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies and a BA in Law from the University of Bucharest.
