Liliana Buşoiu is a Partner, Leader of the Transaction Diligence team of EY in Romania. She joined EY in 1997 and has over 24 years of professional experience, focused on providing support services in transactions (financial diagnostic analysis/due diligence) and assistance in negotiating contracts for sale-purchase (SPA): price adjustment mechanisms, working capital and net debt, warranty and representations clauses on financial matters.
Liliana was involved in dispute resolutions in privatization contracts mainly in the energy sector; in restructuring projects and independent business reviews for banks and players in various sectors.
Liliana specialized in due diligence services for transactions, being involved in over 400 due diligence projects, on both buy-side and sell-side projects, in many industries: power and utilities, consumer products and retail, real estate and construction, industrial products, health services and pharmaceuticals, technology, media and telecommunications, professional firms and services. She has coordinated projects from Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania and other countries in the region.
Furthermore, Liliana served international and European strategic and private equity investors interested to invest in Romania and Moldova.
She holds an engineer's degree from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, Electrotechnical faculty. Liliana is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of the Romanian Chamber of Financial auditors.
