As Senior Manager with Client Technology at Ernst & Young LLP, Craig leads several products services across Blockchain, Quantum and Financial Services. Notably, Craig is the inventor of the Blockchain Analyzer: Reconciler for Assurance, a global solution for our teams. Craig continues to build, enhance and grow the functionality as the technical landscape evolves.
More recently, Craig has been supporting and leading the global EY organization’s Quantum initiative, applying his wealth of experience in product development, teamwork and global product delivery. Alongside Quantum, Craig also drives a portfolio of financial services products within EY Helix, our global analytics platform for audits.
Craig has over 8 years of experience developing innovative technology solutions within EY. Before joining EY in early 2017, he successfully designed and implemented several business-critical systems within the airline industry. Craig earned a BSc (Hons) in Business Information Systems from Oxford Brookes University.
How Craig is shaping the future with confidence
Craig’s passion for new technology continues, through the Quantum initiative. Quantum poses both an opportunity and a threat. Craig and the team have been proactively exploring ways to harness the power of Quantum computing within the service line, while simultaneously advocating for protection against Quantum threats, by leveraging the NIST Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) standards. Craig likens the Quantum threat to Y2K preparation, stating, “It’s similar to Y2K; however, we don’t know the exact date and time it will occur.”
