As the EY Americas Financial Services AI Leader, Sameer empowers financial services organizations to effectively adopt and use artificial intelligence (AI). He leads a cross-functional team of data scientists, AI practitioners and business domain professionals who implement AI-driven approaches through techniques that include deep learning, knowledge graphs, large language models and agentic AI frameworks. Sameer has helped some of the largest financial institutions develop transformational business strategies that harness AI, resulting in significant enhancements in customer risk management, fraud detection, compliance automation, marketing and servicing.
Previously, Sameer was a partner and head of the consumer finance and risk division at a leading AI solutions provider.
Sameer holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, and a BTech in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
