Michel serves as CFO of EY Belgium and is a Partner in the EY Consulting practice. In addition, he serves as Global Client Service Partner for the European Commission, helping coordinate multidisciplinary services and relationships across the EY organization. He brings extensive experience in internal audit, risk management and business transformation, helping organizations improve performance and strengthen governance.
Michel joined EY Consulting in August 2000 and previously led the Belgian Consulting service line for many years. He has extensive experience in internal audit co-sourcing and outsourcing engagements and has advised clients across a wide range of sectors. He is a Certified Internal Auditor and a Registered Forensic Auditor. Michel holds a master’s degree in Engineering from Ghent University, an Executive MBA from the University of Antwerp and a Master of Science degree from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology.
