Jon is an experienced energy corporate finance professional who, over nearly a 30-year career with the global EY organization, has advised on transactions, strategy development, capital raising and policy in over 40 countries globally acting for a diverse range of companies, investors and governments.
Jon is a respected industry commentator, speaking regularly at industry events and with his insights appearing in the media.
Jon has previously led the EY UK Energy Strategy and Transactions practice and Global Oil and Gas Corporate Finance team. Beyond his sector responsibilities, Jon has led the European Corporate Development Leadership Network, helping senior M&A practitioners across sectors develop transaction insights and solutions for their capital agenda.
Jon is a Chartered Accountant, achieving the Gold Medal in the Order of Merit, a Chartered Fellow of the Securities and Investment Institute, and he holds the Corporate Finance (CF) professional designation.
He holds a first-class BS in Mathematics with Economics from Nottingham University.
