Shinichiro is EY Asia East and Japan People Consulting and Managed Learning Services Leader. In these roles, he works with organizations to reimagine how learning, talent and HR operating models support enterprise transformation and long-term value creation.
With more than 25 years of experience, Shinichiro has led large-scale HR transformation initiatives across industries, focusing on HR strategy and digitally enabled people models.
Shinichiro has been a visiting professor at Kenichi Ohmae Graduate School of Business (MBA) since September 2020. He served as an adjunct professor at Kyoto University Graduate School of Management (MBA) from April 2023 to March 2026 and has been a visiting professor at the same institution since April 2026.
His major publications include Skills-Based Organization: Beyond Job-Based Talent Management (co-authored, JMA Management Center), HRDX Textbook: People Strategy in a Digital Era (co-authored, JMA Management Center) and Human Capital Management and Data Disclosure (co-authored, Seibunsya).
