EY-Parthenon supports Tieto in divestment of two software businesses

In the transaction, Tieto divests Edlevo, a school administration software business, and HR&P, an HR and payroll software provider.

On 18 February 2026 Tieto announced to have entered into agreement to divest two software businesses within its Indtech portfolio to EG as part of its portfolio simplification and sharpened strategic focus.

The transaction includes Edlevo, a school administration software business serving pre‑schools and schools across municipalities in Sweden and Finland, and HR&P, an HR and payroll software provider focused on Swedish public‑sector customers. Together, the two businesses generated EUR 37 million in revenue and EUR 5 million in adjusted operating profit (EBITA).

EY-Parthenon supported the transaction through a coordinated, cross-border advisory effort, delivering financial due diligence, carve-out advisory, and data analytics through seamless collaboration across advisory teams.
