EY Transaction Support involves the provision of financial due diligence services for our clients who are considering either acquiring a business (buy-side or pre-acquisition due diligence) or selling all or part of their business (sell-side or vendor due diligence).

Our clients in Ireland include high profile local acquisitive corporates as well as mid-market, London-based private equity clients. There is a buzz from working on a live transaction, where our clients get real value from the work we do for them. Whether that be from helping articulate key business drivers, assessing balance sheet exposures, identifying and analysing potential purchase price adjustments, or advising them on transaction legal documentation.

Our TS practice is globally integrated and we often work with our overseas colleagues, for example when we have an overseas client contemplating a transaction in Ireland and the UK.

We focus on providing our team with meaningful development opportunities with a focus on on-the-job coaching, working with our team of dedicated diligence specialists and actively seeking opportunities for our people to step-up.
