Strategy and Transactions Graduate Programme

When applying, you will be asked to indicate your preference for the type of clients you would like to work with. You may choose from:

EY – All Industry Clients: This category includes some of EY’s largest global clients in the following industries/sectors: Consumer & Health, Industrials & Energy, Government & Infrastructure, Technology, Media & Telecommunications, and Private.

EY – Global Financial Services Clients  (GFS): Focus exclusively on clients in the financial sector through EY’s dedicated Global Financial Services. This includes area like Banking and Capital Markets, Wealth and Asset Management, Insurance, Fintech & Technology Payments, Aviation Finance and Structured Finance.

We offer two exam routes through joining the Strategy & Transactions team:

• ACA exam route
• ACCA exam route – Requires 9 exemptions or externally passed exams.

EY also offers sponsorship opportunities for students pursuing a Masters or Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting as part of the Graduate Programme in Strategy & Transactions. All programmes must be accredited by Chartered Accountants Ireland. Once your postgraduate degree has been completed, you will then move onto one of the professional qualification exam routes. Final year undergraduates accepted into the programme can receive full sponsorship to complete their accredited studies and achieve CAP1 and CAP2 exemptions, while current students in these programs may apply for part sponsorship if on track for full CAP1/ two CAP2 exemptions as applicable.

Sponsored Master’s in Accounting / Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting Route:

Successful applicants may receive full sponsorship, which includes:

• €7,600 towards course fees
• A bursary of €2,500
• Book allowance of up to €500

For part sponsorship, eligible students receive:

• €3,500 towards course fees
• A bursary of €2,500
• Book allowance of up to €500
