Professional Qualifications - Tax

Pursue a dual professional qualification with our Tax Graduate Programme.

What will my professional development look like?

As part of the Tax Graduate Programme, you will have the opportunity to pursue two internationally recognised professional qualifications, and become both a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor.

You will sit both the ACA exams and the AITI Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) exams, all while receiving world-class exam support, paid study leave and benefits provided to help you succeed.

You also have the option to pursue the AITI Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) exams only, if you wish.

  • Your training contract with EY will support you through the completion of relevant work experience and your professional exams.
  • You will receive paid study leave in excess of the recommended study leave by the Professional Institutes in Ireland.
  • EY will pay for all associated costs in relation to tuition and exam entry fees for first attempt exams, admission to membership and subscription fees.

The length of your training contract is determined by the institute exemptions you have received via your educational background. You will begin your training contract with the ACA exams, and following this you will complete the final AITI Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) exams.
