EY is proud to be a sponsor for the 19th National Health Summit. Healthcare in Ireland is undergoing fundamental change and facing profound challenges as it continues to deal with the impact of Covid-19, which has exacerbated the pressures on the health workforce, delays in access to care and health inequalities.

This important summit will bring together leaders from across the health service to explore the impact of current reforms on service delivery and share experiences of the reality of working on the ground in this complex and challenging system.

Health Summit

At EY, we don’t just want to reimagine the health sector — we want to help rebuild it. Indeed, with  more than 15,000 people globally, serving over 4,000 different clients, our health practice is ideally positioned to leverage expertise and knowledge from EY teams across the globe to help transform health services for our clients.

In the context of a a rapidly growing and ageing population and the increasing prevalence of chronic disease and multimorbiity, there is a need for the health sector in Ireland to be reimagined.. Health care organisations, both here and globally, must address these challenges and drive transformation in the face of short-term pressures. There is a need toinvest and take advantage of new technologies and innovation, and facilitate the implementation of entirely new models of care which are patient centred and integrated across care settings.

At EY, we work with you to reposition and optimise your models of care, people strategies and operational structures to address cost pressures, while leveraging the potential of analytics and technologies to improve quality of care.

In this way, we help health organisations operate efficiently and deliver better patient outcomes.
